Celebrity babies – new kids on the block

Celebrity babies refer to the kids of celebrity couples or babies that have achieved celebrity status purely because of other factors. However, the babies of celebrities hog the limelight since the media is hungry for news, especially those considered sensational.

Often, celebrities tend to hide their family matters. The issues relating to babies in particular are kept as a top secret. Many celebrities even do not bring the babies to the public life till they at least reach the teenage state. This is more so because the celebrities are under extreme pressure and media scrutiny. Besides, many of the celebrities’ marriage life are of short duration. This could have a negative impact on babies since the celebrities will be under extreme mental pressure. They do not want their children to undergo the same pressure. Consequently, the celebrity babies seldom make it to the newspapers and television channels.

A perfect example to this condition is singer Britney Spears, who had two children. Owing to a strain in relationship with Kevin Federline, the couple is now fighting over the custodianship of the two babies. Everyday, there is news relating to Britney Spears and her dear children. The entire issue has become a hotly debated subjected these days. For the newspapers, particularly the tabloids, Britney Spears and her court battle for kids, have become a daily staple.

However, there are kids of other celebrities who hog the limelight simply for the stardom of their parents. There are also some talented kids of celebrities. Pop diva Madonna’s children are exampled for being talented offspring. Unlike other controversial celebrities, Madonna has never made the issues relating to her kids a public affair. The issues relating to her kids and babies have always remained a private affair despite frantic efforts by the tabloids to work on the matter.

Another couple, who have shared too much of news space between them is Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Jennifer recently gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. The couple has guarded the secrecy of the twins despite multiple efforts by the media to grab a photo opportunity of the twins. So far, the couple has shown a steady relationship. As a consequence of this steady relationship, the celebrity babies are having a nice time and private life.

There are certain top celebrities who have made themselves controversial on account of their behaviour with babies. The most famous among such celebrities is the ultimate entertainer Michael Jackson. The star was photographed dangling his youngest baby from the balcony of a Berlin hotel’s fourth floor much to the horror of his fans and passers-by. Though Jackson apologized later for having committed a mistake in excitement, little has been heard about the baby Prince Michael II ever since then.

A celebrity baby in true sense is the twins Adam Robert Warton and Jacob Joseph Warton, who played the lead role in the Hollywood’s hit Baby’s Day Out. The babies became so famous after the movie that kids were being named after them. There was tremendous demand for the twins once the movie became a runaway success. The babies had achieved the status of celebrity just nine months after they were born.
