These websites even have images and graphics relating to the gossip and the people involved in it.

Some celebrities, it is said, create their own gossip to remain in the limelight. This works in their favour and has often yielded positive results in the past. Imagine, there is a movie star, whose fortunes are falling, due to a string of flop movies. Imagine that this particular star is involved in a well-known gossip there are chances that the actor is in the limelight again and creates artificial demand, at least for the time being. This being the case, however, some celebrities tend to lose their focus due to gossip.

Celebrities, who are normally affected by this gossip, tend to issue a statement immediately in the media to cool matters. One such famous Hollywood star couple known for adopting babies from different continents issued a statement stating that they were not splitting as being reported in a section of the US media. The couple attributed the rumours of their possible split to some high profile party gossip. However, news relating to gossip news does sell.
