There are music celebrities we love, there are music celebrities we admire, there are music celebrities that we simply cannot stand and then there are music celebrities whom we simply hate. At the same time, thanks to the over activism of the media and the attention catching antics of some people, there abound certain celebrities whom we simply do not want to know anything about .This is because we already know more about them than we do about our immediate family members and best friends. Any more information is simply overkill, but neither the media nor these celebrities understand that we are fed up. Some of the over exposed music celebs that we would really like to see and hear about less of this year are:
Britney Spears: 2007 was the year of Britney Spears. Never had Spears gotten as much attention, not even during her number one pop star days than what she got as a nutcase divorcee with two kids. Be it Spears arriving at public places in all her hairless glory , accosting strangers in hotel bathrooms and telling them her sob story or dancing without basic minimum clothing on, Spears has been in the news almost every day of the past year. We would definitely love to see much less of this music celebrity this year and hope that she finds a way out of the black hole that she has dug for herself.
Paris Hilton: The millionaire heiress celebrity got herself classed as music celebrity with the release of her music album. But no wonder what kind of a celebrity you call Paris Hilton, you will never call her “lesser known”. The girl who has gained much more fame than all her rich ancestors combined follows a close second when it comes to being in the news for one reason or the other. Thankfully, some reasons like spending time in jail were at least worthy enough to deserve a mention and Paris’s tantrums in jail were much better entertainment than her adult home videos.
Lindsay Lohan: When all twenty something babes were up to something, could Lindsay Lohan stay far behind? It seems like Lindsay has been trying to traipse in the footsteps of her peers Britney and Paris here, but at least she has not landed up in jail! On the other hand, her trips in and out of rehab, and their having been proven useless by Ms. Lohan’s behavior outside have made sure that she has been an extremely overexposed music celeb this past year.
Michael Jackson: Ever since Michael Jackson became Michael Jackson, he has managed to stay in the news for more reasons than his music, be it his numerous plastic surgeries, accusations of child molestation or his marriage to Elvis Presley’s daughter and beyond, Jackson has time and again proved that he is really “Bad”. In spite of a drought of any creative work, Jackson has managed to keep himself in the news with antics like making fans pay thousands of dollars for spending thirty seconds at a party with him.
