Matthew Broderick has made a lot of hearts flutter in his romantic comedies but he has also caused some pain. In 1987 he was involved in a terrifying car cash after crossing into the wrong lane. The accident claimed the life of 28 year old Margaret Doherty who was in the Volvo that Broderick collided into. He was fined $175 and convicted for careless driving. “Dirty Dancing” star Jenifer Grey was with Mathew when the accident occurred and claims she has never recovered from the ordeal.
