Since their inception, video games have been one of the most popular forms of media entertainment among kids and teenagers.
While there are a lot of games that strive to be kid friendly; like Mario and Pokemon, there are more than a few video game titles that are rated Mature, by the ESRB, for a reason.
Even though this rating system is in place, may parents still remain oblivious to the inappropriate content of the video games that their kids are playing.
Here are our picks for 5 video games (and video game series) that have earned their Mature rating, and your kids shouldn’t be playing.
GRAND THEFT AUTO V
Why is it rated Mature?: Strong sexual content, blood and gore, nudity, intense violence, use of drugs and alcohol, mature humor.
The Grand Theft Auto series has been the center of numerous controversies for well over a decade now – and for good reasons. Players have the ability (and are often encouraged) to violently steal vehicles, kill civilians and take their money, and cause widespread mayhem and destruction.
The latest game in the series, GTA V, has probably one of the most controversial video game missions; where the player has full control over an incredibly graphic and violent torture scene.
With this game out now for next gen consoles and PC, parents need to be aware that this Mature rating is more than warranted.
Celebrities love being the center of attention and that’s why so many of them love to strut their stuff in sexy bikinis. However, every once in a while we get a glimpse of some celebrities at the beach and all we can say about what they’re wearing is “WTF?”.
Here are 13 celebrities and their beachwear that may leave you saying exactly that.
No that’s not your grandma – its just Kesha. Someone should have just stayed at home, or bought a mirror… or even just have friends that kept her from wearing stupid things.
Celebrities are people just like us – sometimes they have kids when they’re old, sometimes when they’re young, and sometimes they don’t have any at all.
Here are 9 celebrities who had their kids when they were still kids!
JAMIE LYNN SPEARS
Britney Spears’ younger sister Jamie was a popular Nickelodeon kid star back in the mid 2000s, starring in ‘All That’ and ‘Zoey 101’. Her Nickelodeon career was cut short when, at the age of 16, she revealed that she was pregnant. Nickelodeon cut ties with her and Jamie left Hollywood and returned to Mississippi to raise her daughter Maddie. She resurfaced in 2013 to release a country album.
Justin… oh Justin. The Justin we know today has virtually nothing in common with the little YouTube kid that so many pop fans fell in love with not so long ago. In fact, we’d even dare say that the only thing that seems to have remained of his past self is that Justin has grown from being an immature teenager into an immature young man. From repeated physical altercations with the paparazzi and egging his neighbor’s house, to urinating in a mop bucket at a restaurant – and so much more.
We know that people always say that the camera adds 10 pounds; but does it also add a few inches as well? We never knew that so many of these celebrities were so short. Are they always hanging out with shorter people or have we just been blind this whole time?
DANIEL RADCLIFFE – 5’5″
Daniel’s height probably worked out pretty well for him as the titular character of the Harry Potter franchise. Coming in at just 5’5″, he stands equal to Emma Watson (Hermione) but a few inches under Rupert Grint (Ron). His short stature hasn’t affected him getting other roles as well. He’s starred in films like; “The Woman in Black” and “Kill Your Darlings.”
It seems like if you want to be a star in Hollywood then everything about you has to be perfect – all the time. That definitely goes for all the body parts, including perfect teeth that give you a swoon-worthy smile. We present to you some celebrities who have chosen cosmetic dentistry (from a single cap to a mouthful of veneers) to help them get and keep their share of the Hollywood pie.
In 1984 Cage took a big step, he pulled two teeth for his part in the movie “Birdy” – talk about dedication to the task. As main roles came his way, he decided to go full hog with a new natural smile complements of a complete set of veneers. We guess the makeover for his scruffy-looking teeth was a good decision and may have played some (small) part in his winning an Oscar for “Leaving Las Vegas”.
No doubt the 2016 presidential campaign took a different turn when television personality Donald Trump jumped into the race. Aside from the many controversial arguments, The Apprentice star also highlighted the fact that there are a few candidates you may have never heard of. Here are 10 campaigners who may very well leave you asking; who is he/she?
We’ve all heard the story of the ugly duckling growing into swan, and the lives of many celebrities are much like the popular fairy-tale. Others are not so lucky. Their transition from their adorable child self into plain unattractive adults is something no one could have foreseen. Here are 15 child actors who will leave you asking: “Is that really them?”
It was almost sad to watch Macaulay Culkin transition from an adorable mischievous kid in ‘Home Alone” into an unappealing adult. Like most of his fellow childhood stars, Macaulay had still managed to land a few headlines about his battle against drugs. Nowadays his life is much quieter, aside from the music of his band mates.
